It seems I had a run-in with what appeared to be Monzo's fraud squad. When I mentioned my intention to reach out to Monzo via their website instead, feeling quite uneasy about the nature of the call it felt distinctly dodgy, they promptly cut the line. Very telling, wouldn't you say?
