5 yearsGot a missed call from this number and rang them back. A bloke with a strong southern drawl just said “hello,” no hi or anything. When I mentioned they’d called the day before, he asked my name so I gave him my first name. Then he asked where I was from, I told him I’m not a company. He then asked if I was a building firm, I said I used to be one. He reckoned it was probably the marketing team calling. I asked twice which company they were with and then he just hung up. Tried calling again but no reply. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.5 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from the car phone warehouse, and the offer sounded way too good to be real - which, of course, it was. They asked for my email to "confirm" things, and at first glance, it looked pretty much like an official email from the car phone warehouse. However, once I started to check the spelling and grammar, it was awful. Definitely not the real car phone warehouse!
