I picked up, asked ‘who’s this?’ but all I got was total silence, not a single word back.

Got a call from someone called Tony. Became really nasty when I refused to say who I was. Proper rude.

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Adam White. He was chatting to my mum, claiming it was about a refund for some hidden bank fees. When he asked for her date of birth, I stepped in and started asking what exactly the call was about. He couldn’t really explain anything properly, just mentioned something about acting for the UK High Court in Manchester. When I pushed him for more info, he just ended the call.

i usually only pick up the phone if someone leaves a message, but thought it might be my mate calling and answered straight away. this woman with an accent from south asia asked for me by name, which seemed like a typical scam start. i played along for a bit like it was a radio show, then she just hung up.

Heard some chatting in the background for a bit, then they just ended the call. Total waste of time.

I swear, everytime I call this place all I can hear is people yapping away uselessly in the background. It’s like they’ve got a whole office just spinning their wheels and draining cash from whoever’s paying for this mess. Total waste of time and money!

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, he said he was Tony from a claims company. He told me there’s a cheque waiting for me from some government scheme about reclaiming hidden bank fees. He did know my name and address, which was a bit worrying, but then he wanted more info to prove who I was. The moment he asked for my DOB, I told him I wasn’t about to share personal stuff on the phone and just ended the call. Honestly, I’m not taking the chance of falling for any phishing trick.

There was this background voice that sounded Indian, probably from a call centre. Then, they just ended the call on me.

Got a call yesterday evening, the caller asked for someone who doesn’t even live here. Told them that and they started swearing at me. We’ve got a business here so blocking every number isn’t really an option.

A chap rang me up, claiming he was from an account service and asked me to verify my address. I told him it’s a Cam, and he started chuckling. I promptly ended the call.
