Picked up the phone and asked who it was, no answer. Then they started rambling about some insurance stuff.

I've had some prior experience with this firm. They misleadingly claim they can replace windows through a government initiative. If you request a quote, they really push the notion that you’re snagging a massive deal, but in truth, they’ve just hiked up their prices.

Got a call from 01392 449004 a moment ago. When I asked who was calling, they just said "energy savings." So I asked if that was their first or last name, but they just repeated energy savings. They wanted to know if I was the homeowner as they said they had some info for me. I told them cheers but we’re good with all the info we need, then hung up.

I got a ring from a person claiming there's a government grant for upgrading double glazing. Apparently, there is a legit scheme to swap out energy-inefficient windows, but this call seemed a bit dodgy since they never mentioned a company name. I told them I'd already had the work done just to be safe. Could well be a new scam, but hard to say for sure.

though I've got a message on my voicemail saying i only pick up if i know the number, these calls just keep coming through. numbers like 01392 449006, 01392 449000 and 01392 449008 are ringing non stop. might just pick up next time and give them a piece of my mind!
