I picked up the phone only to find it was a call from some energy firm. I answered with a rather blunt, "This is a #### shop, what do you want?" He just ignored my interruption and kept rattling on with his sales pitch. So in the end, I decided to hang up on him.

I received two calls while I was out and, the moment my answering machine picked up, they disconnected! I'm guessing it's just another dodgy home energy con. I've gone ahead and blocked the number!

Got a call around 17:52 this evening. An automated voice introduced itself as "Luke." It was regarding something to do with energy in my home. This is not the first time I’ve had this character ringing me up!

Him: “Hello, I’m Luke, your local energy consultant.” Me: “Hello, Luke. Who exactly put you in that role?” Luke suddenly disconnects the call. What a shoddy attempt at scamming, “Luke.”
