Rang me at 18:10 and there was no one on the other end, yet again a complete letdown. I've now added this number to my block list.

Received a rather unexpected phone call from this number, and it’s evident that it's still being utilised for the same old scam. I chose not to pick up, but my phone provider marked it as a potential fraud attempt as well. Considering that, along with the details I've come across here, I would definitely categorise this as a 'hazardous' contact.

Just received yet another bothersome phone call. Seriously, mates, find yourselves some decent work! Honestly, karma has a way of catching up with you, and it’s not always pleasant.

I think they must have dialled my number by mistake. When I answered with a "hello?", there was silence on the other end and they promptly disconnected. There were some faint sounds in the background, but nothing I could really decipher. Quite odd!

Another irritating caller has been trying to get through to me more than once... so I've gone ahead and blocked their number!

Unsolicited phone calls can be rather irritating, can't they?

I recently took part in a Mastercard survey, providing feedback on the assistance I received from their customer service team. It was an interesting experience to share my thoughts on how they handled my query.

It appears this is some sort of automated calling system that rings once and then disconnects as soon as you pick up. The purpose behind this pre-call seems to be to verify that your number is active and that you're likely to respond. Following this brief interaction, they plan on dispatching a sales representative to contact you later, undoubtedly offering you something completely pointless!

I've been inundated with a barrage of unsolicited calls recently—at least five or six each week! I make sure to block every single one of them. It's become quite a nuisance!

I missed the call, but they ended up leaving a voicemail by mistake. I could hear the call centre staff ringing through to numerous individuals in the background.

They rang me twice today, but didn’t leave a voicemail. When I answered, there was just silence, so I decided to block the number.

I've been receiving a few calls from numbers marked as "UK mobile", which I rather curtly asked to stop contacting me. Then, they had the audacity to try and spoof this number! It was clearly the same chap. The call came through with a +44 prefix, which is odd for an actual UK call. They claimed to be from UK Consumer Surveys, insisting that my opinion is so crucial that I'm apparently one of just two households in the country chosen for feedback. What a load of nonsense! They eventually gave up after I silenced my phone and stepped out for about ten minutes. Upon my return, I found eight missed calls waiting for me!

It's high time we root out these callers and hold them accountable; they really exploit our elderly folks.

I received a call informing me that my debit card had been used fraudulently and they insisted I provide all my banking information to this number.

The caller rings but never seems to respond.

I tend to avoid picking up calls from numbers that I'm not familiar with.

I always ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers. The moment I identify one I don't recognise, I make it a point to block it straight away, whether it’s a mobile or a landline. I’ve fallen victim to scams before, and I can confirm that not picking up and blocking these numbers is completely within my rights. At the end of the day, my safety comes first!
