Received a call from someone purporting to be from Virgin Media. They had an Asian accent and were exceptionally courteous, but their message was rather alarming. They said that my Virgin Media broadband was under some sort of hacking threat. I didn’t stick around for the details and hung up instead.

I had a rather alarming experience earlier today. I received a barrage of calls from someone purporting to be from BT, insisting that there was some sort of issue with my broadband. They were probing about the devices I had connected, and honestly, their tone was quite pushy and nearly hostile. What was even more bizarre was that I got five different calls in just a quarter of an hour, each from a different number! It felt very off, to say the least.
