Had a call from this number earlier, and it turned out to be some sort of robotic voice guiding me to yet another tedious message. I lost interest pretty quickly and decided to hang up. Clearly, it’s a ploy of some description, probably a scam. Best to steer clear!

I received a rather peculiar voicemail and upon returning the call, they insisted I confirm my complete name and address. I mentioned my married name (Mrs...), but they persisted that they required my full name along with my middle names. Oddly enough, during their initial call, they hadn't referred to anyone by name or had any identifying details. When I pointed out that my marital surname should suffice, the representative claimed it wasn't adequate. The whole situation felt decidedly suspicious, so I firmly stated that if they weren’t prepared to proceed with the conversation, I would have no choice but to terminate the call, as it didn’t sit well with me at all.

I received a voicemail from this number. It was quite difficult to hear due to the poor quality of the line. The person seemed to have a Scottish accent, but it was a bit hard to make out the words.

Beware of the Opus con!

I keep receiving messages every two to three days from someone claiming to be OPUS, asking me to return their call. They don’t actually phone me, just keep sending these texts. I've blocked the number, yet the messages still come through. This has been happening for about six weeks now. If they were legitimate, surely they would make an actual call or send a proper letter!

I’ve come across calls from a company named Opos, who appear to be acting on behalf of some other debt recovery agency. Honestly, it feels like a bunch of bottom-feeders attempting to coerce you into signing up for a repayment scheme for a supposed debt they reckon you owe. My advice? Just shut them out and pay them no mind!

My son recently received a letter claiming he owes money for catalogues he has never even laid eyes on. It all started with a phone call, and then they followed up with a letter insisting he settle the debt by providing bank draft or debit card information. He was absolutely beside himself with worry! Thankfully, I took the initiative to look into it online. It’s an absolute scandal how they can put ordinary people through such distress!

They've apparently escalated this nonexistent debt to them. They’ve provided a phone number, 01389 493417, and online links, urging me to get in touch. Quite the mix-up, don't you think?

I chose not to pick up the call, but I have a strong inkling that it might be a dodgy number.
