Dont share any of your details with this number, they dont show any proof of who they claim to be. If they need your postcode, surely they can just send a letter if they have something important to say. I’d suggest reporting them to OFGEM as it seems linked to the now closed energy company Together Energy.

Then on the second call, it actually read the number out loud before going quiet. Seems dodgy to me, probably some kinda scam, but I’m not totally sure. I’ve just blocked it now.

I reckon it was that same debt collector who kept hassling me back in summer 2018 after I left Together Energy, even though they sent me a final bill saying I owed nothing. I’ve since put their number on the block list on my phone to stop their calls and texts.

Whenever I get a call from a random number, they tend to hang up before the automated message even starts. If it does go to voicemail, I listen to see if it’s someone I need to speak with and cut in if it is, otherwise I just end the call. Since doing this, I hardly get any spam or scam calls.

Got pretty much the same sort of story as others here. The only thing that seemed legit was that the woman on the phone knew exactly when I ended my contract with Together Energy, which was ages ago, over a year. Speaking of which, my time with Together Energy showed how poorly run and disorganised they were! If this call was legit, waiting 13 months to ask about a bill seems daft. I'm sure I paid it off, so to me this sounds like a scam.

They said it was Together Energy, but when I asked what for, they wouldn't say because I wasn’t the named account holder. I told them I'm the one who pays all the bills, so they should talk to me instead, but they refused. Proper no from me, so I told them to jog on (not in those exact words). Then this Scottish bloke said he’d call back later for my partner. What a determined little sod!

I just got a call from this number. It was a recorded lady's voice. She never said Together Energy but mentioned something that sounded like O plus. She asked me to press a number key which I refused, then told me to call a contact number and gave me a reference number starting with OP and then 7 digits. (Obviously, I'm not going to call that.) I left Together Energy around five months ago. Since then, I hadn’t heard from them via email, but strangely, just yesterday I got an email from them asking for an unpaid balance but with no further details.

I rang the number, and honestly, don’t give any details to this lad saying he’s Sean, sounded like he was from Glasgow. I’ve handed everything over to Action Fraud with all the info I could gather from the bloke, managed to keep him chatting for about 15 minutes to waste his time. Also passed the numbers onto my phone provider so they can have a proper look into it.

Im really concerned that Together Energy shared my info, even though I stopped using them over a year ago after the ombudsman stepped in. The fact that the text mentions my link with them proves theyve mishandled my data. Theyre totally hopeless, terrible at their job, and pricier than my current provider, BULB.
