Got a call from a number saying they was from amazon prime, said they’d just taken my yearly fee from my bank. I told them I pay monthly and they just hung up on me.

Sounded like a scam, they asked if I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault.

Not a clue who they were, asked if i was the one who runs my business, i said yes. Then they just stopped talking, so i ended the call and blocked the number.

Got two calls this week from someone claiming to be with the 'Labour Party'. They already had all our names down and went through the house asking everyone who they voted for last time and who they’d pick if the election was happening now.

7.49pm. The person on the line used my first name and said she was ringing for the local Labour Party. When I asked how she had my info, she claimed it was "from the electoral register". I told her I never agreed to share my details. She said sorry and then ended the call. This is the second time I’ve had this. I’m gonna contact the Council to see if they’ve let my info slip!

I went with it becouse the number looked like my doctors. This number has kept calling my home phone a bunch of times but never left any voicemail. I finally picked up this evening, and the person on the other end knew my full name. When I asked who it was, she said Joanne and mentioned she was with the local Labour party - but I don’t think they’re very local! I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call. I’m puzzled how they managed to get my landline number though, since I’m ex-directory.
