The phone rang for about 15 seconds at precisely 7:49 in the evening, and I chose not to pick it up. It's clearly not a business line and I don't recognise the number at all. It's got a code for Dumfries in Scotland, which I find quite puzzling. I’m not willing to take any chances. To be honest, it does make me feel a bit uneasy, especially at my age of 75 and living on my own.
