I got a call from a woman with a kinda American accent, but she sounded foreign. She didn’t say her name or who she was working for, just jumped straight in with "I need to ask you some brief questions about your pensions." I told her straight away "nah, I’m not interested, so I’m hanging up now." When I tried to ring the number back, it said it was invalid or didn’t exist or something.

I got a call from a lady speaking with an Indo-American accent, chatting about a government scheme for energy savings. She seemed to have plenty of my info, even my address, but couldn’t tell what kind of property I live in, like whether it’s a house or flat. She asked if anyone there was claiming benefits, and then when I mentioned the heating isn’t electric, she just cut me off. I’ve blocked the number now.
