Got a call from a busy call centre and they started with my first name. They said it was about an accident I’d supposedly been in. I told them I hadn’t had any accident. They insisted it was something from the past and already dealt with. I repeated that I’ve never had an accident or made a claim. Then they asked if maybe someone else in the house was involved. I said there’s no way this number is connected to any accident and asked them to take me off their list. They quickly agreed and wished me a good day.

I got a call from some bloke speaking with an accent I couldn’t place, saying I’d been in a car crash that never happened. When I asked where he was ringing from, he said Motor Assist UK. But then, when I questioned exactly where he was based, he totally butchered the name Dumfries - which is odd, since the number was local to there. I mentioned my partner supposedly died in the crash (which obviously was a lie), and the bloke just hung up on me. Looks like another dodgy scam call from Motor Assist UK!

Utterly dodgy accident chasers, if you ask me! They were clearly fishing for my banking info. The person on the line claimed to be an insurance representative specialising in accident claims, spinning a yarn about securing compensation for my supposed misfortunes. It's absolutely shameless!

Got a call from 01387404025 earlier. The lady on the phone asked for me by my first name - no idea how she knew that! She started talking about a car crash supposedly involving me, which never happened. I cut her off and demanded to know why she was calling and where she got my info from. Then I told her to erase my details immediately. She just said sorry and hung up. These calls are such a massive nuisance. Definitely a SCAM!
