I got a call from this number in Dumfries, and the person asked for me by name. When I tried to get her details, she mentioned a company and said I’d supposedly had an accident sometime in the past year and a half. I was a bit unsure but went along with it. She kept pushing for a ‘yes’ answer, and after I gave it again, she asked if I could really recall the incident, then just put the phone down. There was loads of noise in the background, not the usual quiet call centre sounds, and she spoke with a foreign accent. I’ve blocked the number since then.
