I keep receiving messages from this number claiming there are outstanding payments on my account, but I'm well aware that all my financial obligations are managed through direct debits and are perfectly organised. They don’t even mention my name; just provide some reference number and a contact number, stating there's a problem with my account and they’re unable to retrieve this month’s dues. The odd thing is, I’ve never authorised any direct debits with them. They say they're from Cap Resolve, but I have a feeling this is dodgy. Not keen on engaging with them!

Received an unexpected phone call from this number. I have a hunch it might be a nuisance caller, definitely someone I don't recognise. I chose not to pick up.

A caller rang me up, attempting to persuade me they were affiliated with Domestic and General. They were urging me to extend the warranty on a Hotpoint washing machine that, quite frankly, I’ve never even possessed! Quite the cheek, really.

They rang me at 8 AM, and then again at the same hour in the evening! It's utterly infuriating.

The caller said they were from Domestic Appliances, a company I'm not familiar with. The whole thing had the vibe of a call centre. I received a call from a woman purporting to be from Domestic and General. It's clearly a con. I've had dealings with Domestic and General before and recognised instantly that their numbers were different. This was the second time they'd tried to get in touch within the same week. Curious, I called back using my number withheld, but was met with another woman, her accent distinctly Indian, leaving a recorded message saying they couldn't connect my call. That's not how D&G operates. Steer clear of these types; they were trying to renew a warranty on a household appliance, clearly angling for my bank details or something equally dodgy. As soon as I declined their so-called warranty renewal, the call ended abruptly.

She informed me that my coverage had expired, but when I pointed out that it was still valid until the end of the month, she abruptly ended the call. Upon trying to ring the number back, an Indian female voice told me that my call couldn't be connected. Clearly, this is a complete scam!
