The person on the other end was completely silent and hung up after a short pause. I made the choice to block the number afterward.

On 31 July 2023, around 2.40 in the afternoon, this number gave us a ring. Just as I was reaching to pick up, and before my answer service kicked in, the caller hung up. No follow up calls have come through since then. We do get similar calls from different numbers quite a bit.
