This was a total scam, they claimed they were from Microsoft. First they asked if I had a PC and told me to power it up. Then they said some overseas hackers had got into it or something. After pestering me a few more times to turn it on, they ended up swearing and hanging up on me. Proper rude and clearly just trying to con me. Seems like these scammers don’t even bother trying hard these days.
