got a call from what sounded like talktalk technical department, all automated saying they were going to cut off my internet without any reason. typical recorded message nonsense.

I got a robo call saying that my TalkTalk services were going to get cut off soon. They gave me a couple of numbers to ring back, but I just ended the call right there.

Had a call yesterday from someone claiming my internet was being hacked from abroad. When I told the lady I already knew about it, she just ended the call. Same thing happened with BT.
