Received an irritating call regarding a supposed car accident. I'd advise everyone to steer clear of these con artists!

I'm getting calls from fraudsters asserting that I've had a car accident.

I got a call yesterday regarding some incident I had on the road. They knew my full name and phone number. I wasn’t having any of it, so I told them to shove off and hung up. It’s rather unsettling how they managed to gather that info; I’m usually quite guarded with my personal details. Makes me think – do the phone companies perhaps share or sell this kind of information?

I decided to give it a miss since I didn't recognise the number—most likely just another unsolicited call.

Absolutely relish the opportunity to have a bit of fun with these callers! I once managed to keep one on the line for a whopping four minutes before they finally hung up on me. It's quite the thrill!

Persistent telemarketers!

I wasn't able to reach them initially, so I rang back and they informed me of their operating hours.

Like many, I received an inquiry regarding a car crash I was involved in. The chap got rather annoyed when I inquired which accident he was referring to. I do wish I could think of something more creative to truly bamboozle them and take up their time!

Does anyone happen to know who was ringing me from this number?

I chose not to pick up the call.

Received a call from 01386304170, but I chose not to pick up since I only respond to numbers I recognise.

I received a bothersome call instructing me to ring a different number in order to stop receiving these annoying calls!
