Since the call showed a local number, I picked up. I’d been looking into funeral plans, and the person on the other end claimed to be from Reassure (or something like that) insurance brokers and gave me some quotes. To be fair, they weren’t too bad, but I hesitated to provide my bank details because I wasn’t 100% sure it was genuine... Honestly, I still can’t decide if it was legit or not. When I asked why they were calling from a local number, the guy said it was cheaper and that people tend to pick up more often - can’t argue with that, I suppose!

I've been getting these incessant calls-quite bothersome, really. They often ring a couple of times in quick succession right after I hang up. It's becoming a bit much, to be honest!
