I've received numerous calls from a company claiming to be 'Capital Resolve' looking for someone named 'Wayne Rhodes'. It's definitely a dodgy set-up! They ring several times throughout the day and always leave a mechanical-sounding voicemail. Each time, they recommend a number to ring in order to make a payment. Best to steer clear of this!

Received a couple of missed calls.

Last year, I made the decision to block this number, and since then, it’s been peaceful with no pesky calls. However, today my phone buzzed to inform me that they’ve tried to ring once more. Just a heads up that they seem to be at it again! Personally, I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, and thankfully, this one is still firmly in my blocked list. Stay vigilant, folks!

A chap with an Asian accent rang me, claiming to be from some sort of holiday agency. It really felt like a call centre vibe, so I decided to cut the conversation short and just ended the call.

I attempted to organise a holiday, but it seems I've stepped into a bit of a pickle. I went ahead and settled a deposit, only to receive a barrage of over a dozen calls pressuring me for additional payments to finalise everything. Fingers crossed this isn't some sort of scam!

I initially assumed that the missed call I found was from a client. When I rang the number back, I was greeted by an answerphone that stated, 'This call might be recorded...' At that point, I decided it would be best to hang up and look it up here instead.

I received a call on my old number from someone who had a distinctly foreign accent, either Spanish or Asian. They inquired about a name that didn’t seem familiar at all. I mentioned that they’d dialled incorrectly, and after a brief apology, they promptly ended the call.
