5 monthsSome bloke with a Nigerian accent rang me up asking about loft insulation. He kept going on about how, since my house was Victorian (which it’s not, it’s from the 50s), I should get some kind of loft upgrade. I told him insulation stuff is sorted by the City of Edinburgh Council, and to take it up with them. After that, I just ended the call and never got any more calls from them.City of Edinburgh Council5 monthsI don’t recognise this number at all, does it come from loads of others nearby too? From now on I'm just blocking anything from that region, probably scammers anyway. If they’re genuine, they should really leave a voicemail!5 monthsGot a call from someone claiming to be Sky, telling me they could lower my bills for a year. They even sent me an email that looked pretty legit, asking for my email and password so they could send me a code to enter. When I asked them for the address on my account to make sure, they refused to give it. I later contacted Sky directly and they said it wasn’t them at all. Definitely a scam, watch out!Sky5 monthsThis number just buzzed my phone for about 15 seconds so I thought I’d look it up. I'm quite cautious since I’ve been scammed before and now keep a close eye on who rings me. Also, watch out for the Energy UK scam going around.Energy UKSubmit Your Own Report (01384 982397)
