today i got a call supposedly from talktalk tech support saying my phone line would be cut off if i didn’t press 1. seems like there’s some sort of scam aimed at talktalk users atm. anyone know how talktalk are dealing with it?

i got this call from some bloke claiming to be from bt tech support, but honestly it sounded like one of those computer-generated voices. he was banging on about my internet gets cut off in a day because of some hack detected on my ip or something. kept telling me to press numbers on the phone, which felt real dodgy. recording it probably wouldn’t have done any good either.
