Today, I received a call from this number, and much to my surprise, an automated voice, supposedly from Amazon, was on the line. It claimed that my Prime membership was up for automatic renewal, threatening to withdraw £80 from my bank account unless I hit 1 to speak with someone and cancel the so-called renewal. It’s clearly a scam as I’ve never even signed up for Prime!

Got a call from 01383 574432 around 11:55 this morning. It was some automated message claiming to be Amazon, saying my Prime membership was about to renew and they'd charge me £80 unless I hit 1 to speak to someone. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account... Plus, since when has Amazon set up shop in Dunfermline? Seems pretty fishy to me!
