Got a call from 01382801895 today, 1/11/24, about 3.23pm. Some bloke pretending to be from Amazon, trying to scam me out of money. Problem is, I don’t even have an Amazon account! So I just mucked about with him for nearly 40 minutes. He got proper annoyed when I told him that, haha. Total waste of his time, payback's a laugh!

On Thursday 12th September 2024, just about midday, I got a call from this number warning me of some strange fees on my bank or maybe my credit card. I quickly ended the call. Being based in Essex, I’m starting to think these banking scams are popping up everywhere now. I used 1471 to check the caller's number and got 01382 801895. I tried calling it back since sometimes scammers use real people's numbers by mistake, but it just said it was unavailable. So, I looked the number up online and turns out, yeah, it’s linked to bank fraud.

Got a robotic call saying it was from my bank's security team about two transactions on my account. Mentioned a £300 payment to Amazon and another one for £1100 through some overseas money transfer site that they thought looked dodgy and unauthorised. The voice told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to chat with someone from their department. I didn’t bother and just ended the call!
