To be perfectly honest, let’s not mince words: this wasn’t some innocent survey conducted by a so-called Indian “surveyor” with a dodgy name! Should you have revealed any personal information during the call, brace yourself for a barrage of scam calls in the coming weeks. They could be posing as representatives from BT, accident claim companies, or even HMRC. Do take heed-what may seem like an innocuous call is, in fact, highly risky. This isn’t a survey in the slightest!

HMRC have got some case against me but I was pretty confident nothing's wrong. So, I tried asking them a couple of questions and then suddenly they just hung up on me. Then they went and blocked me!

this number aint connected to any accident or insurance claims. its just some clever scammers trying to get you to give away your card details and the 3 digit code on the back by asking for a small payment over the phone. watch out, its a total ripoff.

just to clear things up, this definitely wasn’t some harmless survey from an indian caller using a fake identity! it’s actually a scam for stealing your personal info done by fraudsters working out of dodgy call centres in india. if you handed over any of your details, expect a bunch of calls soon pretending to be from bt, an insurance firm, or even hmrc, all with different stories. don’t be fooled, this seemingly normal call is highly risky and definitely NOT a survey!
