Monday kept ringing me over and over again. I don’t pick up, but the noise is really messing with my calm and it’s upsetting my husband who’s disabled too.

I had a similar call from this number, a bloke with a Scottish accent saying I completed a health survey about a year ago. He did know my name though, but I’m pretty certain I never did any such questionnaire, so I didn’t waste much time chatting with him.

Got a call from some Scottish bloke named Ian who said I filled out some health form like a year back, or maybe I answered a call and said yes to having rheumatism or something. Asked if I actually had it, haha. Told him it wasn’t really his concern. He said it was as part of his work. Was polite but just a bit of a faff.

Just like everyone else said, got a call from Pure Independence asking about some health survey that "my husband" supposedly did. Problem is, I’ve no husband and I didn’t bother correcting them. I knew it was rubbish straight away, so I told them to remove me from their list. Turns out they still plan on ringing my 'husband' again soon. Good luck to them, cos next time I’m gonna tell them to do one proper!

Got the same call, they said I’d completed a health survey which I definitely haven’t. Think we should report this to the Info Commissioner - if lots of people complain, maybe they’ll step in.

Just like the others, it was a guy with a Scottish accent. He asked about my wife doing a health survey, so I told him "you'll have to speak to her then" and he just ended the call straight away!

Just got a call from a lassie with a Scottish accent saying I'd done a survey on aches and pains. Never did no such thing. Like I’d go giving my health info to some random stranger on the phone. Ended the call straight away!

I wasnt home when they called and they didnt leave any message. I really dont want random people calling me at all. Even if I had picked up, as soon as I realised it was some pointless bother, I would have hung up straight away.

Just like others have said, I got a call from a Scottish lady who knew my name and claimed I filled out a health survey last year. I told her that’s definitely not true and that I’m not answering any health surveys or questions unless it’s from my doctor and actually important, then I ended the call.

A bloke with a Scottish accent rang me earlier and was rather impolite. I mentioned that I'm on the TPS, and he got a bit defensive. I said I’d lodge a complaint, and just like that, he cut the call! Quite rude, really.

A chap rang me up yesterday, claiming I had submitted a form about experiencing bodily discomfort. I couldn't quite place that, but I ended up recounting a rather lengthy tale about my bout with sciatica a decade ago. When my doctor prescribed some potent painkillers, I promptly made my way back to the surgery, firmly stating I wasn't going down that path and would prefer physiotherapy instead. After just twenty minutes of training, and with a printed sheet of exercises in hand-which I diligently perform for ten minutes each morning-I've been pain-free ever since. I insisted to the caller that this approach has proven far more effective than any medication ever could. It seemed, however, that my story didn’t quite keep his attention; he lost interest and simply vanished from the conversation.

Got a call from a woman with a Scottish accent saying I’d taken part in a health survey over the phone, which I definitely hadn’t. She got really pushy when I asked what the call was really about. Then she asked if maybe someone else in my house had done the survey and whether anyone had any aches or pains. I told her I was hanging up and wasn’t going to share info about anyone else. Later had a look, and the number was from the Dundee area code.

On the 3rd of July, I received a call from a woman regarding some kind of survey, much like what others have mentioned. She failed to clarify which organisation she was affiliated with, and hung up once I didn’t engage with her.

Just like others have said, rang about some health survey I'd already done. The bloke got a bit annoyed when I asked "what's actually being sold?" and who he was with, so pretty clear it was a sales call. Told him no thank you, not interested. He mentioned he was from Pure Independence, which we've looked up and they're a firm based in Dundee. These calls are so frustrating, how on earth do they find your details?!

Honestly, it was almost entertaining dealing with such absolute muppets in telemarketing. Since I had nowt else on, I proper stringed him along. He was top-tier rubbish at sounding believable - one of the worst I've encountered. "A survey from a year ago"? Yeah, that’s believable… even the callers from Asia I’ve got are way more convincing than this clown.

01382 250760: Got a call from a guy called Stuart, sounded Scottish and said he was phoning back about a health survey I supposedly did ages ago - which I definitely didn’t. He even knew my name which was strange. Told him he’d got the wrong number and ended the call. Like loads of others who’ve mentioned this same number, we’re signed up to the TPS, so why do these annoying calls still keep coming through?

Some woman rang saying I’d completed a health questionnaire, which I honestly don’t recall. She questioned me about any pain or discomfort and offered some pads to relieve various aches, saying I could try them free if I gave honest feedback. I didn’t agree to have someone come round. Now waiting for another call from them.

Pretty much what everyone else says! A guy with a Scottish accent claimed I’d completed a health survey last year. I told him he was making it up and hung up! He somehow knew my name and I’m definitely on the do not call list!

Got a call from a woman in a really loud office, who actually knew my name (how do they do that?!!!). She said she was checking in on a health survey I supposedly did last year. I told her I never did any survey like that, and I’m well aware of scams like this - ended the call while she kept arguing. Honestly, it’s awful how these people have no shame trying to trick the most vulnerable.

01382250760 I picked up straight away and said hello (I'm a great-granny but sound quite young) and the person just hung up. These calls are happening more often and I really don't like having to pay my phone bill only to get annoying dead-air calls.

Like a few others have said, I got a call from a woman speaking with a Scottish accent saying I did a survey last year. I told her I never did, then she asked if I was still living at the same place and actually gave me my exact address. I just hung up after that. Definitely seemed fishy.

Got a call from this number earlier today, sounded just like all the other ones. They must trick some unlucky folks or they wouldn’t bother with it. It’s really worrying, there ought to be a way to catch these scammers. Best thing is to just keep putting the phone down on them.

This individual is remarkably tenacious, no matter how many times you mention you're relocating or that you're utterly baffled by their inquiries. I tried responding in various ways just to gauge their reaction-it's astonishing, they've got a retort prepared for everything. It’s quite clear this has the hallmarks of a scam.

Saw this number on my BT Call Guardian app - it had already stopped the call the day before, love that feature! Decided to ring back and someone with a Scottish accent picked up. He said they were doing a health survey and asked if me or my wife had arthritis, both of us said no. Without me even saying anything he promised to take us off their list. Was quite taken aback by how polite he was. Seriously recommend the BT Call Guardian system - no annoying calls anymore but you can still check the log whenever you want, quite interesting to see who's been trying!

I’m in the same boat. Claimed he wasn’t making cold calls and didn’t own up to any shady dealings. You can sense that overbearing "matey, I-know-your-name" vibe. Honestly, I hope he sees this and faces some serious karma!

Very similar to other stories here. The caller had a polite Scottish accent (though 01382 is Dundee). Claimed I’d done some health survey last year, which I definitely didn’t, mentioning aches and pains. When he realised I wasn’t going to fall for it, he said he'd just bin the form. Feels like they’re targeting older people to scam them. What’s worrying is he seemed to have a lot of my info, and I’m on the TPS list. I’m about to report this. 01382 should be a landline, after all.

Like others have said, I guess I got a health screening call. Even though I’m on the TPS, they still tried to chat. Absolute cheeky lot!

I received a call earlier, picked up the phone, and greeted the caller with a friendly “hello” multiple times, only for them to abruptly disconnect. How frustrating!

Had a call this morning around 10.30 from a Scottish guy who claimed to know loads about mine and my wife’s health, saying it came from some form we supposedly filled in - which we definitely didn’t! He kept insisting it wasn’t a sales pitch but it really was obvious. I told him I’m on the TPS and was about to end the call, then he suddenly got quite rude. I’ve reported it to the police now.

This number keeps buzzing me all the time, looked it up and it’s clearly a scam. I just don’t pick up anymore, they never bother leaving any voicemail and hang up right when the answer machine kicks in.

Got a call this morning at 9:50, the guy said he wasn’t trying to sell me anything, I told him I don’t deal with people on the phone as I have no idea who they are, and then he just ended the call.

Got a call from a lady sounding Scottish, claiming it was about a health survey I'd done last year (which I never did). She mentioned 'aches and pains' because I'd supposedly marked that, (which I hadn't). Pretty obvious scam to me, and I’m on TPS so they just ignored that. I told her to wait a sec ‘cause I had something on the stove, then ended the call. About 8 minutes later, she called back but hung up straight away.

I've had a rather familiar experience. A chap with a distinct Scottish twang rang me up, claiming to be following up on a survey I supposedly completed a year back. Truth be told, I steer clear of those kinds of things for this exact reason. When I challenged him on it, he countered that perhaps someone else at my address had filled it out. But that simply wasn't the case! I decided to cut the conversation short and hung up. It's incredibly frustrating - they've now made my blocked numbers list!

I've had a comparable run-in, to be honest. A chap with a pronounced Scottish accent rang me up, stating he was following up on a survey I apparently completed a year ago. I never partake in those sorts of things, precisely to avoid such calls! When I mentioned this, he tried to argue it could have been someone else in the household. Well, it certainly wasn’t anyone here, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hung up. Truly irritating! That number is definitely going on my blocked list.

Had a very similar call with a man from "Pure Independence," sounded Scottish. He claimed I'd done a health survey last year and supposedly marked "aches and pains" somewhere. He had my number, postcode, and name all spot on. Thing is, I never took any survey. Told him I remember well, he said sorry and hung up pretty quickly. Seems like a dodgy marketing trick to spot vulnerable people who might forget things. Annoying and a bit worrying, really.

Just like someone else mentioned, I got a call today about a medical survey they said I took part in a year ago. I never did. The woman, who said her name was Sarah and had a Scottish accent, wouldn’t explain why she wanted any details about me. I told her this was pointless and to take me off their list and not bother calling again. Yeah right, like that’s gonna happen! BEST NOT TO PICK UP, THEY’RE DEFINITELY UP TO NO GOOD.

Yesterday, I gave my elderly mum a ring to check in on her arthritis. She answered the phone in a bit of a daze. The caller mentioned they had some pads that could help alleviate her discomfort and said a chap named Ewan Crerar would swing by at 10am today, claiming they already had her address. This morning, my mum and I attempted to call back numerous times to prevent this visit, but there was no response from them. Thankfully, my brother-in-law was able to pop over to her house by 10am. Ewan Crerar showed up just before 9.50am. When he knocked at the door, my mum firmly stated she wasn’t interested in making any purchases, and to our relief, he was understanding and left. Just a word of caution - if you see this number on your caller ID, it’s best not to answer!

Complete and utter nonsense! I never completed any survey, nor did I claim to be suffering from any ailments. Make no mistake, they’re absolutely pushing their products while pretending not to. Be wary of these individuals; they’re not just misleading, but could potentially jeopardise both your wellbeing and your finances!

Deceitful nonsense! I certainly didn’t partake in any survey, nor did I mention suffering from any discomfort. It’s quite clear they’re attempting to hawk something, no matter what they claim otherwise. Exercise caution with these individuals - they’re not merely being untruthful, they pose a genuine threat to both your wellbeing and your finances.

Absolutely rubbish!! I never completed any survey nor mentioned anything about aches and pains. And they’re definitely trying to sell me stuff despite saying they aren’t. Watch out, these lot are not just fibbing, when it comes to your health, they’re a risk to both your wellbeing and your wallet.

Got a call from a suspicious number today. Seriously, don’t pick up if it rings you, and if you do, just put the phone down straight away. They seem to be targeting older folks and others who might be easy to fool.

Guy with a Scottish accent from Pure Independence rang me. He claimed I'd done a survey on arthritis. He also knew my address which was a bit creepy. Told him I hadn't done it. Asked if anyone else in the house had, I said no one. Then he said he’d take my name off their list.

I had a chap ring me up with a thick Scottish accent claiming I had participated in a survey a year ago - which I certainly didn’t. When I mentioned that I never engage in telephone surveys, he casually remarked that I must have simply forgotten! I let him know I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but he insisted it wasn’t a cold call since I supposedly reached out to them a year back. Which, of course, is utterly untrue, and he claimed this was merely a follow-up. It reeked of a scam for sure!

Received a call from someone with a Scottish accent claiming I'd filled out a survey a year ago about a heating pad for aches and pains, which I definitely never did. I told him I don't take calls from cold callers, but he argued I was actually answering his questions. I just ended the call and blocked the number 01382250760.

I've received multiple calls from a chap with a Scottish accent. The conversations seem to unfold in the same way as others have mentioned. He claims I filled out a form about a year back. Somehow, he had my name and address and went on about me suffering from various aches and pains. Absolutely not the case! I made it clear that I wasn’t keen on continuing the discussion, and he promptly hung up without another word.

He called and said my name, then immediately started talking. I just hung up straight away. Last time I got a call like this they were asking loads about our health problems and trying to book an appointment with us. I looked up the number online and found out it was a sales company pushing different products meant to “help” with aches and pains. Loads of people online said the sales calls were really pushy. I reported them to Action Fraud and told them that when they rang again. The stuff they said was unreal, you’d have to hear it to believe it.

Some bloke with a Scottish accent rang me, saying he was doing research for an arthritis charity. He reckoned I’d already done a survey last year (which I definitely hadn’t) about aches and pains, but then asked how old I was since they apparently didn’t have that info. I ended the call before it got any dodgier.

Someone rang my work number yesterday but hung up when it got redirected. Then they rang back today just as I was looking up their number, and when I picked up and said it was a business, they quickly said sorry, got the wrong number. Feels like a spam call, maybe aimed at older people or folks with health issues, since my number isn’t listed anywhere and only used for hospital appointment contacts.

After dodging numerous calls, I eventually picked up the phone. Surprise, surprise - it was the same bloke with a Scottish accent hounding me about some health survey that I'd never even filled out. I quickly brushed him off, but it does leave me a bit uneasy thinking he might be fishing for someone who's a bit more susceptible. Who's to say what he might do next?
