So my partner picked up the phone and the person on the other end asked for him by his first name, then the call just dropped. Thinking it was someone we knew, we looked up the number and saw loads of similar reports on here. About a year ago, I took a call like this saying it was regarding a survey either of us did about back pain, but even if that was legit, it’s crazy to think they’d take a whole year to get back to us! Either way, that number’s definitely blocked now.

My mum’s been getting calls from this same number loads, like four times a week for months now, saying she completed some health survey - which she definitely didn’t. The bloke on the phone keeps insisting she did and wants to have a word with her. I ended up blocking the number because it’s just harassment, and she’s 88 years old, she shouldn’t be bothered like this. I'm honestly getting tired of these calls where they claim they're not trying to sell anything. This bloke, definitely not Scottish, kept saying my partner had filled out some health form and that I was his wife - which I'm not. Got a call today from a bloke with a thick Scottish accent who rattled on about some health survey I supposedly did ages ago - like a year and a half back - about pains and stuff. He kept going on about how it took ages to reach me. Then I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to stop calling. got a missed call from this number a few hours ago. normally i would ring back, but after reading some of the reviews here, decided not to. i’ve also filed a report online with the police, which was pretty quick and straightforward - took me just a couple of minutes. honestly, these scam calls are driving me mad lately. i’m thinking of reaching out to my local mp to find out what the government’s plans are to crack down on scammers using uk landlines that can’t be traced and can call from anywhere. i’ll wait and see if that does any good - at least it gives them something to do!
