This number has phoned me a few times asking for someone I don’t know, supposedly living in Bishop's Stortford. I’ve explained several times that the person they’re after isn’t at my place, but they keep ringing anyway. The latest was a woman who wouldn’t even say who she was - she just hung up as soon as I asked. Bit rude if you ask me!

got a call from a home improvement firm based in Braintree. the guy had my name and when i asked if i actually asked for the call he said it was just part of his job to ring people. i told him it was a cold call and his company shouldn't be phoning me, especially when i'm on the tps. he clearly knows what he’s doing and understands i can say no to these calls. since the chat wasnt going anywhere, he just ended it. if you dont take the survey, all theyre left with is your name and number to keep bothering you till they finally get it that theyre just wasting their time.

I got a phone call from a home improvement firm based in Braintree. He already had my name and when I asked if I’d asked for this call, he just said it was part of his job to ring people. I told him it was a cold call and his company should know better, especially since I’m signed up with the TPS. He clearly knows what he’s doing and understands we have the right to refuse these calls. The conversation went nowhere and he finally hung up. If you don’t take part in their survey, all they’ve got are your name and number to keep bugging you until they realise they’re just spinning their wheels.

Got a call this morning around 11:15, and the person asked if I was Mrs @#£#. I said yes and then asked who it was, but they just ended the call straight away. Tried ringing back but no luck. Not sure how they knew my name but I’ve heard saying yes to anything just gives them permission to pester you more or sell your info, so be careful with that!

They said they rang about half a year back, but we were tied up then, so they're ringing again now to give a quote. The staff member didn’t seem to know about TPS and insisted that offering a quote isn’t the same as selling anything. Feels like a complete rip-off to me.

I just began with this firm yesterday, and honestly, they’re very nice folks who deserve a bit of patience. They’re only doing what they have to, and I get that it can be irritating, believe me. Got a call about a month back, they said they’d talked to me six months ago. Pretty sure they thought I was my mother-in-law, who sadly passed away. You could tell from the woman’s voice they were assuming I was quite old and trying to take advantage. I didn’t hold back on telling them what I thought about their dodgy sales tricks. Avoid picking up calls from this number if you don't want to deal with pushy telemarketers. I’m not sure what they wanted to sell, but they got a right telling off for calling a number on the TPS list and then ended the call sharpish. The lady claimed I was on their calling list, and when I asked to talk to the boss, she said he wasn’t around, which seemed a bit too convenient.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Anglia First, saying they were doing some work on my road. I double checked the street name, then out of nowhere I heard them laugh and the call just dropped.

Some woman called me from this number asking to verify my name. When I asked what it was about, she dodged the question but tried to confirm my address instead, even quoting an address. I kept insisting she tell me who she was and what the call was regarding. She said she needed to check my info first, but I told her I’d need her details before sharing anything over the phone. She then accused me of being rude, which I denied, explaining that I had the right to know who she was before giving out any info. This is the 4th day I’ve got a call from this same number. The first three times no one said anything. Today the person actually spoke and asked if I’d got a letter from Frisk Home Improvements.
