I've received several calls from this particular number requesting someone I am not familiar with, residing at an address in Bishop's Stortford. Despite informing them that the person doesn't reside at my place, these calls continue to persist. Recently, a woman called and when I inquired about her identity, she abruptly ended the call. got a call from a home improvement firm based in Braintree. the guy had my name and when i asked if i actually asked for the call he said it was just part of his job to ring people. i told him it was a cold call and his company shouldn't be phoning me, especially when i'm on the tps. he clearly knows what he’s doing and understands i can say no to these calls. since the chat wasnt going anywhere, he just ended it. if you dont take the survey, all theyre left with is your name and number to keep bothering you till they finally get it that theyre just wasting their time.

There was a home improvement company based in Braintree that contacted me. The representative knew my name and I inquired if I had requested a call from them. He responded by saying that it was a part of his job to reach out to potential customers. I pointed out that it was considered a cold call and it was their responsibility, as a company, not to contact me especially since I am registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). The representative was fully aware of what he was doing and understood that I had the right to refuse cold calls. As our conversation was going nowhere, he eventually ended the call. It seems like if you decline to participate in their survey, all they have is your name and number to bother you with another day until they realize they are only wasting their own time.

Got a call this morning around 11:15, and the person asked if I was Mrs @#£#. I said yes and then asked who it was, but they just ended the call straight away. Tried ringing back but no luck. Not sure how they knew my name but I’ve heard saying yes to anything just gives them permission to pester you more or sell your info, so be careful with that!

We have been bothered repeatedly by a company named Anglia First. Despite clearly expressing our lack of interest, they persist in phoning us and causing us annoyance. Even after explicitly stating our disinterest, they have the audacity to call back the next day and restart their bothersome behavior.

They said they rang about half a year back, but we were tied up then, so they're ringing again now to give a quote. The staff member didn’t seem to know about TPS and insisted that offering a quote isn’t the same as selling anything. Feels like a complete rip-off to me.

I just began with this firm yesterday, and honestly, they’re very nice folks who deserve a bit of patience. They’re only doing what they have to, and I get that it can be irritating, believe me. Got a call about a month back, they said they’d talked to me six months ago. Pretty sure they thought I was my mother-in-law, who sadly passed away. You could tell from the woman’s voice they were assuming I was quite old and trying to take advantage. I didn’t hold back on telling them what I thought about their dodgy sales tricks. Avoid picking up calls from this number if you don't want to deal with pushy telemarketers. I’m not sure what they wanted to sell, but they got a right telling off for calling a number on the TPS list and then ended the call sharpish. The lady claimed I was on their calling list, and when I asked to talk to the boss, she said he wasn’t around, which seemed a bit too convenient.
