This number has rung me like 38 times over the last four months. I did answer once, they were trying to sell windows and I told them no thanks. They begged for a meeting though, and since I was tied up, I said I couldn't make any promises. After that, it’s like they won’t stop calling me. Proper annoying.

Got a call from a number that was sort of local. The guy claimed we’d spoken before, but I had no clue about that. He was saying something about recycling my windows and that they needed replacing. I asked why and he said it’s because mine were too old. I told him, 'So what? They work fine, probably not as old as the house anyway since they’re double glazed. Plus, they seem to insulate well - lately I've had to open windows and doors just to warm the place up!' He sounded a bit lost after that. I told him not to bother calling again. Still, I’ll add the number to my blocked list.

After reading the comments, it’s pretty clear to me this is some sort of scam, so I’m definitely labelling it as dodgy.

Got a call on my landline today at about 3:27pm. I ignored it straight away because it looked like one of those dodgy scam calls that just seem to keep coming out of nowhere. Turns out I was spot on. We never picked up the phone but it seems it was First National Home Improvements. We told the Telephone Preference Service about the annoying calls - they were checking into all the people getting these calls (loads of others too) and finally made them take our number off. Now, FNH are ringing our mobiles instead, which TPS can't really do anything about.

We got some work done before (door and conservatory) and the job was done well. However, since then, they keep bothering us non-stop. Ive asked them loads of times to stop calling, but they just ignore it and even showed up at our house unannounced. They’re not rude exactly, just super annoying and won’t take no for an answer. I told them it’s already sorted, and the bloke just says “B@stard” and slams the phone down. Absolutely charming. Hope they crash and burn, honestly.

I've received persistent calls from this rather unpleasant character, repeatedly urging me to permit First Home Windows of Railway Street, Braintree, to evaluate my double glazing. I even consented on two occasions for them to come and inspect my windows in Chelmsford, but both times they simply didn't show up. After a few months of being pestered again, I firmly requested they cease contacting me. Had we been conversing in person, I reckon he might have complied, but instead, he resorted to hurling insults, calling me a “Prick.”

I received a rather abrupt and uncouth telephone call the other day. The chap on the other end couldn't even bother to get my husband's name correct, which instantly raised my eyebrows. When I inquired about the purpose of his call, he had the audacity to retort, "Are you his bodyguard or something?" It was painfully obvious that this was just another one of those unsolicited calls.

First Home Improvements from Braintree claimed they had previously visited my property and that I’d given them both my name and phone number, also supposedly agreeing to be contacted in six months. Complete rubbish. I rang them back on 0800092112 and spoke with the manager, who confessed to cold calling people. He said he’d review the call and get back to me. Surprise, surprise, no callback. Highly suggest everyone phones their free number and shows them how it feels!

Pretty sure this is First Home Improvements, connected to Anglian Windows. Had some work done around a year and a half back, and although the job was good, I kept getting loads of calls pushing more sales. I complained and they promised to take me off their calling list, which they actually did for about a year. But now the calls have started up all over again!

This is Anglia 1st Windows. We had double glazing done and also got our garage roof fixed through them. Both jobs were done pretty well. The annoying part is they constantly call, pushing quotes for other stuff like soffits, garage doors, and conservatories. Feels like we cant get a break from their calls.
