Got a call from someone claiming to be from First of Braintree, but I told them I wasn’t interested. After a quick search, I found out they’re actually a home improvement business. Definitely going to block that number now.

I got a call from a young bloke claiming to be with something like ‘First Braintree’. The number showed up as local to Braintree. He mentioned they’d been round my way a couple of months back working near a neighbour’s place. When I told him I couldn’t remember, he just ended the call. Wonder what he was trying to get?

I got a weird phone call the other day from someone asking if I was still living at the same place. They said they’d been round knocking on my door a while back to apologise because they were doing some work at the house next door. I told them I didn’t remember any of that, and then they just hung up on me. No clue if it was some sort of sales call or something else.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Debbie at 1st Direct in Braintree, but we have no link with them at all, so I just ended the call straight away.

When I picked up, I could hear them whispering or something. After a bit they just said hello but then didn’t follow up with anything. Quite odd really.
