Got a ring from this number, they claimed to be from our energy provider and asked for our MPAN and meter ID, saying there’d been some system issues recently causing info confusion nearby. I told them I’d jot down their details and check with the supplier first to make sure it wasn’t dodgy, and as soon as I mentioned that, they just cut the call. Pretty clear it was a scam.
