Some bloke rang claiming he was from Virgin, my supposed internet company, even knew my name. Problem is, I don't even use Virgin. He then babbled about a problem with my router and said there was a virus on it. Wanted me to link up my laptop or tablet so he could get rid of it. I just told him straight, "No way, cheers, bye!"

This woman called claiming she was from TalkTalk, asking to check my router. I told her I was dealing with a family emergency, and she started cutting off my calls. I asked her nicely to just end the call.

Some woman rang saying she was from the tech support team about my internet. I told her straight up it was a scam and then ended the call.
