Had a call from someone with an accent I couldn’t quite place. Claimed to be from BT Openreach.

I ignored the call since I've been getting tons of them recently. From what others have said, it sounds like it was someone pretending to be from BT Openreach. Yesterday, I did pick up a call on another number, 01895 439968, and found a post about it here already. The person had an Asian accent and claimed to be from BT Openreach, asking to get into my computer. I just hung up straight away. After looking up reviews online, it appears to be a scam, so watch out! They keep switching their phone numbers constantly!
