I got a call saying I was owed £202 as a refund on my phone bill. When I asked which company was handling it, they claimed it was BT and said the money would be sent straight to my bank account. I asked if the call was being recorded for training and quality purposes, and they confirmed it was. I then pointed out they should have told me that right at the start, but she just ignored my question and tried to restart the pitch. I kept asking, but she just ended the call. Pretty sure these lot are just scammers and I won’t see a penny of that refund.
