I just ended the call without picking up.

Got a call two nights back, as soon as I answered I could hear this weird buzzing and a lag, figured it was from abroad even though it showed a Devon number. Then a foreign voice came on so I just ended the call. The very next night the same number called again about 15 mins later, I missed it and have blocked them now. Don’t bother answering any questions, it’s almost definitely some kind of voice scam.

Pretty sure they’re gathering voice recordings to try and crack online bank accounts, I’ve ended up blocking like six numbers from the same outfit!

Got a call from a woman saying she was ringing about a UK birth certificate - total scam, no doubt about it. When I told her to confirm she was calling from UK Birth Certificates, she just ended the call. Definitely dodgy!

Got a call from a Chinese lady who said it was a marketing survey. Surprisingly, she had my name and address. She asked me to answer three questions with a simple "yes" or "no." When she guessed my age wrong, I said "no," but then she tried again with a higher age guess. It felt fishy, so I asked why she kept ignoring my "no" answers, and then she just hung up! Definitely a scam, so I've blocked their number now!

Got a call from a woman who spoke with an Indian accent. She already knew my name and where I lived and wanted me to do a survey. The first thing she asked was if I had Sky services. Then she asked if I was aged between 35 and 39, saying I sounded that age. After that she asked if I had ever taken out loans or credit, followed by if I owned a car. I didn’t feel comfortable answering and said I’d rather not say before telling her I had to go and hanging up. It all felt like she was trying to fish for info for some dodgy reason.
