Saw they tried calling my phone a few days back but I didn’t pick up or even notice (bit hard of hearing). I usually look them up here, glad I did this time. Have blocked them now. The FREE HIYA APP is also really good, it gives warnings about scam calls which I don’t think this site does yet. Also, a big giveaway is they never leave a voicemail.

Got a call from 01361500036 at about 11.30 this morning claiming to be from cartooning warehouse, then like an hour later same number called again but said they were from 3 network. Bit daft of them to use the same phone. Woman on the line had a strong Indian accent. Definitely a scam, stay clear!

Those scammers from Indian call centres are dodgy. I came across this bloke who actually hunts them down, hacks into their systems and cameras, and flips the situation back on them. Got a call from someone saying they was from EE. Then they started asking what kind of phone I had. I told them if they really worked for EE, they’d already know what phone I use. The bloke had a really strong Indian accent and it was hard to catch what he was saying. After that, I told him I wasn’t daft and it sounded like a scam, then he just hung up.
