Got a call from some automated lass with an American accent claiming to be from British Telecom’s tech support. I reckon she was gonna say my line was gonna get cut off or summat, but I didn’t stick about to find out. Just me, annoyed, really, but I can see how folks who are older or depend on their phone might get caught out by that kind of thing.
