Told her she must have the wrong person, but she insisted it was me since the mobile number is registered under my name. When I asked who she was, she said she worked for a company named Fusion - never come across them before. I told her the details were wrong and I’m not who she thinks I am. Told her to stop calling as it felt like harrassment. Have blocked the number now.

definitely a scam. They called saying they needed to verify my address and date of birth for some database update. I asked straight up who they were, and they said once I gave the details and cleared their “security checks”, they’d put me through to a security expert because my bank account was supposedly in danger. I pretended to be a senior security officer working at a big bank and asked for their names. Shockingly, they just hung up on me.

Earlier, about ten minutes before, I got a live call on my landline from someone claiming to be ‘investment protection services’. The bloke didn’t seem bothered by my TPS mention or that I refused the call, so I wonder if they’re trying to gather info for identity theft? Just a heads up to stay careful, folks!
