Even though the telephone is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, my 79-year-old mother, who has dementia, received two calls from this number on Friday, 26th June. A so-called 'lovely lady' was touting a 'complimentary' alarm system worth £5000 or thereabouts. They even arranged a 'survey' call for later. Honestly, these individuals are nothing short of despicable!

They've called me thrice now. On the first occasion, I pointed out that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but they dismissed my statement as fibbing. The second call was filled with a sales pitch, and I hardly got a chance to say anything. I rang them back later to check if the sales person had been courteous, as I hadn’t been able to speak. After reminding them that I’m on the TPS, I told them not to ring again. They flat out denied having contacted me before. They claimed they weren’t listed anywhere, but I think they said their name was APS Alarms or something similar. Absolute nonsense!
