Just had a rather dodgy phone call from what sounded like an Indian call centre. The background noise was absolutely chaotic, making it quite tricky to hear what the chap was going on about. He was supposedly representing "Global Services" and was prying into my details, asking me to verify my name, address, and whether I was a Sky subscriber. Definitely a phishing attempt if you ask me!

i got a call about my ‘account’ and when i asked what it was about, they started going on about data protection stuff. i told them to remove my number and then just ended the call.

They've rung a few times before but never left a voicemail. Just blocked the number now, can't be bothered with it anymore.

Been getting about ten calls in the past few days here in Uddingston, Glasgow. Every time I pick up, there’s silence on the other end. Thought it was odd since the number looked local to me. Was starting to get a bit worried, but now I realise it’s just some kind of nuisance call. Glad I found out what’s really going on.

Got called three times yesterday by an Indian call centre, but each time they used a different fake UK number. They claimed to be from “global services” and wanted me to confirm my name, which I refused. Then they asked if I was a Sky customer. When I asked what the call was about, they said it was some sort of market research. I then questioned where they got my number since I never gave permission for them to contact me. The guy went silent for a bit before hanging up. Pretty clear he just wanted to bother someone else instead of me.
