My landline rang and the person said they were from the TV licence people, even had my info and claimed I was late with a payment. I wasn’t convinced it was legit but they told me I could sort it out with my TV licence card at a local shop. I didn’t like the idea of paying on the phone though, felt a bit dodgy and suspected it might be a scam. Could be risky if it’s not the real deal.

Got a phone call on my home phone from someone claiming to be from TV licensing. When I refused to share any details and said it was a scam, he got annoyed and said he’d flagged my account and that I should call the number back to check it out. So I rang the number, but all it said was the call came from a withheld number. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

Got a call from a number registered with Vodafone, but the person on the other end said they were from TV Licensing - seemed a bit dodgy to me, probably a scam.
