This is totally a scam. Welsh Water staff wouldn’t be ringin’ with a Geordie accent or calling from anywhere in England!

Got a call claiming to be from Welsh Water, but something felt off about it. Pretty sure it wasn’t legit.

I picked up and the moment I said hello, they just hung up straight away. I’m guessing they might be testing if my number’s live to maybe sell it to other companies?

I tried calling back a number I didn’t recognise by redialing, but honestly, it felt a bit risky. Better to be careful with these unknown callers.
