Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said he was with the NHS, telling me I had to get a covid certificate to prove I was double jabbed. He said I'd be getting an A4 sheet in the post. Right away I was suspicious since he used my maiden name when I picked up. Oddly enough, he also knew my address! Then he switched to talking about life insurance, which made me hang up pretty sharpish. Obviously, no A4 copy has ever turned up, lol.

There was this woman, called Sally, speaking with a thick Indian accent, who just wouldn't stop going on. When I asked her who exactly she was and what company she represented, she suddenly got quite hostile, all because I didn’t respond to her questions. It was pretty annoying!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS Covid team... they actually knew my name but then started asking for my bank details and even brought up Life Insurance stuff. Honestly, I think this number needs checking out by BT and Action Fraud, but from what I hear, they're swamped dealing with a flood of dodgy calls. As Boris put it, there’s a tidal wave of these scammers trying to scam and unsettle folks. So just watch out!

Had a call from 01353655457, a bloke who said his name was Jason. He was asking if I qualified for some NHS corona life insurance payout. Kept pushing for info about my current life insurance provider and how much I shell out monthly. Sounds like no matter if you say yes or no, they’ll want your bank details eventually. Sharing stuff like who you insure with and your monthly premiums could give con artists clues about your outgoings, which they might use to try and hack your bank. Best trick? Ask them to provide your NI number - that usually shuts them up right away.

Typical dodgy scammers on the phone again - as soon as you hear that Indian accent, just put the phone down, it’s definitely a scam. Honestly, you’d think they’d change it up by now but nope, same old trick. They’re all liars pretending to be from the NHS about Covid and targeting the elderly, it’s disgusting. I reckon it was a scam for sure. They said they were calling from the NHS about vaccine appointments but the way they spoke was so dodgy, like a call centre from abroad, probably Malaysia or somewhere. Plus, they messed up my name completely. Once I told them they had my details wrong and I wasn’t buying it, they just cut me off straight away. Real NHS folks don’t just hang up on you when you question their info, that’s for sure.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Indian, he knew my last name and claimed to be from the NHS Covid 19 team. He said he needed to check my double jab status for their files. I told him I use the NHS App myself so my info is current and I don’t share details with random callers. As soon as I said that, he just hung up. Had a look online afterwards and it was definitely a scam. Blocked the number straight away.
