Just like others have said, I got a recorded message from a woman saying she was from Visa (I ain't got a Visa card now), warning me about a dodgy transaction for £900. Don’t even think about pressing any keys they ask for - it's definitely a scam, nothing legit.

I just got in touch with my bank and they confirmed this number's a scam!

When I answered, there was some sort of robotic message playing but it was so distorted I couldn’t understand what they were trying to say. I just went ahead and blocked the number like all the others I’m sick of getting.

As soon as I answered, I could hear a robotic woman's voice already going, like the message had started before I even said hello. She was saying something about confirming a payment of £900 on my Visa card and asking me to press 2. Thing is, I don’t even have a Visa card. Plus, there’s no way I’d ever press a number on some random automated call like that. Honestly, it just gave me really bad vibes!

Got a recorded call claiming to be from the Visa Mastercard Centre, saying I needed to confirm a £900 transfer to Western Union. They asked me to press 1 if it was me. I just ended the call straight away.
