I received a rather discourteous phone call from some persistent individual insisting on speaking to my husband. When I explained that he was feeling poorly and requested they refrain from contacting us again, I was met with the audacity of being told I was "not above the law." I suspect it was yet another nuisance from a claims company, perhaps related to PPI or something equally tedious. My husband, being in his eighties and dealing with short-term memory issues, can seem perfectly fine when he answers the phone, which doesn’t help matters. Honestly, I'm thoroughly fed up with these unsolicited calls and truly wish they would just cease altogether!
