Got a call yesterday from this number but didn’t pick up. It was just after a bunch of other calls earlier that day I ignored too. All of them are scams, so I blocked every single one. The numbers are: 01555 222019, 0161 520 2402 and 0204 520 5258. Got another on 28th May 2022 from 01462 341 325. They claim to be from O2, EE, Vodafone or Warehouse depending on what you say. They seem to have loads of your info: address, salary, subscription details, phone plan, age and stuff. They try to get you to give your 16 digit card number and CVC. Never share these, it’s not legal!!

Someone pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse has been calling me from loads of different numbers over the past few days. They keep offering me a supposedly great Virgin sim-only mobile deal. They even sent me an email with the contract details, then followed up asking for my bank info. Of course, I didn’t send anything because it looked dodgy straight away, so I blocked the number. No sooner had I done that than my phone rang from a Scottish number in Motherwell, which I ignored and blocked as well. Definitely not from Carphone Warehouse - I looked it up to be sure.
