Picked up the phone with my normal hello, got a guy on the line speaking with a thick accent who just said my last name! I asked 'who's this' since I expect strangers to actually use some sort of polite title like 'Mr' before my name! He just kept saying my surname again, so I said 'who?' once more and then he just cut off the call! Proper rude and disrespectful, blocked the number straight away 😡

I decided to hang up when he began rambling on about how he doesn't read them either because they're just chock-full of negative stories. Received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so naturally I pressed 2 to stop any future disturbances. This led to a rather confusing conversation with a woman who sounded completely befuddled and struggled with her English.
