I got a call from a woman speaking with an Aussie accent, saying she was the Energy Adviser for our region and that our loft insulation wasn’t up to scratch. I didn’t let her get far, as this was the third time in a month I’d had similar calls from different numbers, and I’m fed up with it. I told her we’re on the TPS list, and there’s loads of warnings about energy and loft insulation scams on the internet and TV. I gave her a bit of a telling off. Also, I’m pretty sure there’s no such thing as a National Loft Insulation Register anyway.

Just got a call from a woman saying she was some sort of energy saving adviser. I didn’t even bother, just ended the call right away. These scammers need to be caught for good.

So someone called claiming they were nearby and wanted to come over to look at our insulation because there might be an issue with it. They mentioned I lived in a chalet bungalow, then just ended the call right after. Bit odd if you ask me.
