Got a call from a man with an Asian accent pretending to be from TalkTalk. He was saying my account had loads of error messages. Asked if my router was switched on and wanted me to turn it off and on again to check the lights. Told him I was about to hang up. Rang the number back and it just kept ringing until it went to BT voicemail 1571. Seems unlikely that was actually TalkTalk. Plus, the 01343 code is from Elgin, which made me even more suspicious.

so today I got another call from some bloke claiming to be from talktalk, saying my router had issues and they needed to fix it by getting into my laptop. problem is, I stopped being a talktalk customer ages ago after they leaked my info to these dodgy scammers. even after I told them I’m not with talktalk anymore, they keep ringing every day like they’ve got nothing better to do. proper annoying these lot!
